Before being appointed the Coventry Blaze Head Coach in 2016, Danny previously spent four seasons with the club as a player between 2006 and 2010 winning the Elite League Championship on three occasions, including back-to-back successes whilst also adding a Challenge Cup and Knock-Out Cup.
Previously to signing as Blaze Head Coach, Danny spent five seasons in Kirkcaldy with the Fife Flyers, taking on the role of player/assistant coach, before then becoming associate coach, helping the establish the Scottish team as a recognised force in the Elite League.
